Jonas Fryer is an inspired and dedicated video editor with over a decade of post-production experience and three years of on-set production experience in sound, camera, and producer roles. Raised in Hingham, MA, Jonas is passionate about storytelling of any medium, but he was always particularly fond of filmmaking and its power to evoke such fervent responses from audience members. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Richmond in 2021 with a double major in Film Studies and Economics, Jonas joined technical recruiting startup hatch I.T. as a Media Consultant where he's edited over 200 videos and podcasts focused on helping to achieve internal sales and recruitment marketing goals over the last four years. Jonas also recently completed his Master's degree in Digital Media at Northeastern University where he edited professional films and videos daily.
With his skilled experience in sophisticated editing software like Adobe Creative Suite, Jonas is a devoted and reliable editor that will find a solution to any problem that you have. But more importantly, he will not shut up about movies, television, video games, or any other visual storytelling medium.
For his final Thesis for his Master's in Digital Media degree at Northeastern University, Jonas wrote, directed, and edited a narrative short film that won Best Direction at the Crime/Mystery Feedback Film Festival. Watch the trailer here!
